my bedroom

my house was built in 1951
so the bedrooms are a little tight.
after living here for over a year i finally found the perfect set up in my bedroom
that actually fits all the furniture and looks good.

i found three of these plates at savers, and have been trying to decide on the perfect spot for them.
they love fab above my bed.

where the magic happens.. ;)

i bought this vanity when i was in high school at an antique shop.
notice the "catch all" caddy.. that's where tags and all that garbage ends up. i go through it every week or so and get rid of all the junk.
see that cute little box that says "SAV" my first boyfriend made that for me. isn't that cute? i was in junior high.

my mom bought me the matching dresser.
back then i thought i did ok on picking out a matching bed..
now not so much.
i want to find something that is older.
less modern.
less 1990's.

cutest necklace tree, huh? urban outfitters..
and that little thing that has all my lip gloss,
it's a candle holder.

another necklace hanger, it's a key-catch. like 4 bucks at bed bath & beyond

another view of the dresser, can you see the tight squeeze between it and the foot board?

i got this old window frame years ago and all the girls in my fam made something similar to it.
i am thinking about ripping out the old flowers and doing something better with it..
just haven't decided yet.

the bed again. but really, i haven't put up curtains in here, because
1. i am horrible at picking them out
2. i change my bedding really often,
like a couple times a season,
cause i get bored.
so i need something that matches everything.
so i put up this cutesy little garland.. but i think i am going to do something more.
i have an idea, so i will post if it comes to be.

Sav I'm so jealous of how cute and crafty you are! Your room is so freaking cute and I LOVE those monsters that you made for your nephews! I need to get with the program and be more like you!! :)
