i was stoked.
my neighbor wanted to come with me. we planned to leave at 7:30. well when i get up at seven and i am getting my hair into my pony, getting reese's diaper bag together, i get a text from her. "it's raining", i tell her "i am still going" and if she wants to, she is still welcome to come.
come she did and we were both so happy we decided to brave the rain. here are some of my fantastic finds:
$1
tin measuring cups.
we had these when i was little and they are hard to find.

this gorgeous creature is an old wash basin!
the top comes off and it has two sinks, one for washing and one for rinsing.
i am thinking of painting it a butter cream yellow and using it to store fabric and other sewing stuff.
(notice the awesome green pitcher and salad bowl, $3 for the set)
and then there is this little guy. he is going to be my sewing chair.. white perhaps???
he was a buck!
$19 dollars people!
and something to keep me busy and happy!
